Back . . . and better than ever! Kirstie Alley is busy making the media rounds to promote her new sitcom Kirstie, and she couldn't look any better doing it. The 62-year-old actress, who has long struggled with her weight, showed off her slim figure in a tight dress while appearing on Good Morning America on Monday, Dec. 2.
Alley looked glam in a form-fitting royal purple dress that hit below her knee. She accessorized the dress with purple tights, jeweled pumps and gold bangles. The Look Who's Talking star also rocked a blonder, shoulder-length hairdo.
When a fan asked on Twitter how she lost the weight, Alley directed the commenter to her website for Kirstie Alley's Organic Liaison, a weight loss program that uses organic and natural dietary supplements.
The Emmy-winning actress is making her return to TV in her new TV Land sitcom, Kirstie, which also stars Seinfeld's Michael Richards and her former Cheers costar Rhea Perlman. "It's pretty much the dream team," the Veronica's Closet alum told GMA of the cast. "When we got who we wanted, it was sort of shocking. It shocked even me."
Kirstie tells the story of the son (Eric Petersen) of a Broadway star (Alley), who was given up for adoption 26 years ago and tries to reconnect with his birth mother. The sitcom premieres on TV Land at 10 p.m. EST on Wednesday, Dec. 4.
